Rodeway Inn & Suites - Rockford

My credit card was charged for 3 days when it should have only been charged for 2 days. In addition they swiped my card at check in 7 x deducting a total $ 10.80 when they should not have. I want my money back please......

We were satisfied with the staying here. Clean, safe, quiet, easy to find, and comfortable.

Bed was very comfy

I felt uneasy with the location as a lone traveler. The remote didn't work and my sheets had other people's hair on them. Getting into the building was a big hassle too.

This site had a great indoor pool.

First it looks OK, then it changed in nightmare...

I used my credit card for online booking (2 rooms). During check-in I used for 1st room same credit card (as for booking), for second room I used different one. When I looked on my bank statement I found out they charge me 3 times for 1st room (2 x on-line booking, 1x check-in). Customer service is all the time busy. Even they prommised me they will call me back they never did. NEVER NEVER AGAIN in Howard Johnson !!!

Great breakfast. Room on first floor. Had patio and sat outside.

Housekeeping didn't give me more glasses after cleaning room. ask for more glasses. Ice machine first floor didn't work. No elevator. Had to ask breakfast room be opened on weekdays. Staff forgot. Lots of kids in halls without adult. Made too much noise.

The price and pool area

The cleanliness of the room (they had to move us because it was so filthy. The next room was better, but still didn't feel clean) and the manager at checkout (around 11:30am) was one of the rudest people we ever met in our lives.

I have filed a complaint.. We found sperms on the blankets,burn holes, door never locked,front desk Randy hung up on me 3 xs, Manager John said he was going to comp me on 1 out of the 2 rooms. It never happen. I waited in the lobby to discuss and he never showed his. Assistant Manager Christian said he couldn't help,put his hands in the air and walked away. My family rented a total of 5 rooms. I filed a complaint with Wyndham and the BBC. I would like a call back. Poor customer service

First room i was in wasn't cleaned got moved to another room but it was a non somiking room that smelled like an ashtray no pillow cases and stuff all over the floor had to plug in and connect the cable to the tv myself staff was verry accomidating but maintenance and housekeeping seemed to be lacking

Convenience, nearby the event I was in town for. Security was good.

Room was passable. Not the cleanest or nicest room, but it was fine.

The continental breakfast was okay

Should have been informed about the pool not being in operation before we paid for our stay. Should not have advertised a game room with pool table if this is no longer at the location. Overall stay was very disappointing. My bank account has been charged 4 times for 2 rooms on a one night stay and nothing has been done to rectify this situation. One of the rooms had a burn in the carpet from an iron and both bathrooms had rust and what looked like mold. The entire hotel seriously needed an overhaul. Overall I WILL NOT ever stay here again!!!!!

The staff was very nice even though they seemed a little unorganized.

It smelled very musty. If you used any restroom other than your room there was no toilet paper.

I grew up in Rockford and often swam at the pool. It is centrally located to everything we do and people we know.

the pool wasn't as warm as it was AND it's closed til further notice. We were there were while it was open and enjoyed it despite the temperature (which wasn't that bad). Breakfast wasn't great but we know the good places for food.

We could not find anything we liked about this hotel.

1-Mouse traps in room. 2-Staff not friendly. 3-Ran out of towels to stock room.

Price was right.

Room reeked of tobacco smoke. Some slamming of doors by guests. Some loud talking at night from kids.
